Dubai Customs Foils Major Smuggling Attempt, Seizes 147.4 kg of Narcotics at Seaport

Dubai Customs has successfully stopped a large smuggling attempt at a key seaport, preventing 147.4 kilograms of illegal drugs and psychotropic substances from entering the country. This achievement highlights their strong commitment to protecting national security and fighting international crime.

The discovery was made thanks to the careful work of Dubai Customs’ inspection teams. Using advanced screening technology, they noticed something unusual in a shipment passing through the port. When officers inspected the cargo more closely, they found the hidden drugs. Their quick actions helped stop a serious threat before it could reach Dubai’s borders.

Dubai Customs worked closely with other security teams, including the highly trained K9 Unit. Specially trained sniffer dogs helped confirm that the shipment contained illegal substances. Once the drugs were identified, authorities followed all legal procedures to handle the case properly.
