After a successful first edition, the Dubai AI Festival is returning in 2025, promising to further strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for artificial intelligence and advanced technology. This highly anticipated event will showcase the latest AI developments, bringing together experts, innovators, and decision-makers from around the world.

Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, UAE, the festival will take place on April 23 and 24, 2025, at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai. It is being organized by Dubai AI Campus in collaboration with DIFC, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, and the Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office. As a key highlight of Dubai AI Week, which was launched following the vision of Sheikh Hamdan, the festival will provide a global stage for AI leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss new trends, investment opportunities, and regulations that will drive AI’s future.

AI is expected to change the world economy in a big way. Reports suggest AI could contribute about USD 15.7 trillion by 2030, with the Middle East alone benefiting by USD 320 billion. In the UAE, the AI market is projected to grow to USD 46.33 billion by 2033, while machine learning is expected to reach USD 2.41 billion. Experts believe that by 2026, more than 80% of businesses will use AI-powered decision-making. Dubai AI Campus is also set to expand beyond 100,000 square feet, hosting over 500 companies, creating 3,000+ jobs, and attracting investments worth USD 300 million by 2028.

The 2025 Dubai AI Festival will focus on important topics such as responsible AI use, transparency, and the future of work. Experts will discuss AI’s impact while addressing ethical concerns related to its growing influence.

His Excellency Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, “DIFC is proud to present one of the most important events of Dubai AI Week. This reflects our commitment to making Dubai a leading technology hub and supporting industries that are shaping the future. With AI adoption increasing rapidly, the festival will play a key role in ensuring AI is implemented responsibly and effectively across businesses, governments, and communities.”

Following Dubai’s vision for innovation and economic progress, the festival will gather more than 8,000 industry professionals, policymakers, and AI pioneers from over 100 countries. The goal is to encourage collaboration and investment in AI and other advanced technologies.

The event will also feature a large exhibition where companies will display cutting-edge AI innovations. There will be a startup showcase, allowing new companies to present their ideas to investors. A special competition, the FutureTech World Cup, will highlight the most promising AI startups, connecting them with investors looking for the next big breakthrough. Additionally, the Global FutureTech Innovation Programme will search for young minds worldwide who are using AI to solve real-world problems.

Through a mix of exhibitions, discussions, and competitions, the Dubai AI Festival 2025 will provide a platform for learning, networking, and investment in the future of AI.
