In Sharjah's Naseej District, part of the AED35 billion ($9.53 billion) Aljada megaproject, Arada has completed construction on the first eight residential buildings, establishing a new creative hub. These buildings, known as the Tiraz buildings, comprise a total of 920 residences. Situated amidst prestigious cultural, artistic, and shopping destinations like Il Teatro, an iconic performing arts venue designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the Tiraz buildings offer studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments with views of courtyards and open spaces.
Connected to the rest of the Naseej District by a beautifully designed urban park, the Tiraz buildings feature standard smart home amenities. Residents can enjoy family barbecue areas, two swimming pools, a health club, and children's play areas. With the completion of these 920 residences, Aljada now boasts over 7,500 completed units. Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, expressed delight in welcoming the first families to the Naseej District, highlighting the community's fulfillment and the diverse offerings available at Aljada. He emphasized the company's commitment to delivering outstanding amenities and timely construction, attributing the increased property values at Aljada to the project's strong fundamentals and quality design.
The construction contract for the Tiraz buildings was awarded to Kuwaiti contractor Mohammad Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi & Sons in February 2022, with the first four buildings completed by December 2023. Work is underway on the Il Teatro Residences and Sokoon buildings, slated for completion by the end of 2024, adding 625 homes to the Naseej District. Additionally, the Vida Aljada hotel complex, comprising four blocks with 529 units, is expected to be completed by the first half of 2025.
Spanning 24 million square feet, Aljada is Sharjah's largest project and is set to transform the emirate with its comprehensive master plan. Alongside multiple residential districts, Aljada features retail, hospitality, entertainment, sporting, educational, healthcare, and business park components, all within a green, walkable environment.
