Alfardan Group donates AED 5M to Fathers’ Endowment campaign

Alfardan Group has announced a generous donation of AED 5 million to support the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This campaign was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during the holy month of Ramadan. The main goal of this initiative is to create a AED 1 billion endowment fund that will provide sustainable healthcare for the poor and needy in underprivileged communities.

He stated that the Fathers’ Endowment campaign reflects the UAE’s dedication to helping less fortunate communities. He further explained, “Our contribution to this Ramadan endowment campaign is a reflection of our commitment to supporting the UAE’s humanitarian initiatives. Honoring Fathers Through Giving

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign is managed under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). It allows people to donate in the name of their fathers, promoting the values of honoring parents, compassion, and unity. This initiative also strengthens the UAE’s position as a leader in humanitarian and charitable work. Additionally, it encourages the culture of giving and helps build a community that believes in helping others.

Ways to Donate

The campaign welcomes contributions from both individuals and organizations. There are six main ways to donate:

1. Website: Donations can be made through the official campaign website: Fathersfund.ae.

2. Call Center: A dedicated toll-free number (800 4999) is available for those who wish to donate.

3. Bank Transfer: Donations can be sent via bank transfer in UAE dirhams to the campaign’s account at Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201).

4. SMS Donations: Mobile users can contribute by sending the word “Father” to specific numbers:

   • 1034 for AED 10

   • 1035 for AED 50

   • 1036 for AED 100

   • 1038 for AED 500 

5. DubaiNow App: Donations can be made through the DubaiNow app by selecting the “Donations” tab.

6. Jood Platform: Contributions can also be made through Dubai’s community contributions platform, Jood.ae.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign is a significant step toward providing long-term healthcare support to those in need. Through donations, individuals and organizations can contribute to a noble cause while also honoring their fathers.
