‘AI Seal’ Made Mandatory for UAE, Dubai Government Deals

Dubai has introduced a new program called the "Dubai AI Seal" to help people trust tech companies. This program, started by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, is designed to create a group of trusted companies that the government and businesses can rely on for safe tech solutions.

The "Dubai AI Seal" was created by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI). Companies that get this seal will have a better chance of working with the government on important projects. This seal shows that a company can be trusted to deliver reliable technology.

To work with the UAE and Dubai government on projects, companies must have the "Dubai AI Seal." Companies that get the seal can show it on their websites and ads to show they are reliable. Each certified company gets a special number to prove it is certified.

Any company in Dubai that provides tech services can apply for the seal for free on the website www.dub.ai.

The Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence will check companies based on six things: the services they offer, how many workers specialize in technology, their current and future projects, and their relationships with other companies and government groups.

Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, said, "This program will help build strong partnerships between businesses and the government. It will also create new opportunities by using technology to improve the economy and society."

The goal of the "Dubai AI Seal" program is to help people easily find trusted tech companies while also helping businesses grow in Dubai. It also highlights how important tech companies are to Dubai’s economy because they can create new jobs and strengthen partnerships.
