The deal was signed by Professor Ghassan Aouad, the leader of ADU, and Marc Giroud, the COO of Eoptima SAS. Important people from both sides were also at the signing.
The new technology, called "Secondary and Tertiary Green Water Flooding of Fractured and Heterogeneous Oil Reservoirs at High Salinity and High Temperature," was invented by Dr. Omar Chaalal, a professor at ADU. This new method is a big step forward for the oil and gas industry. It helps to get more oil out of the ground, even in places where the water is very salty and the temperature is high. It also helps protect the environment by using clean, green methods. This is important for the world's goal of being more eco-friendly and supports the UAE's plan for using cleaner energy.
Professor Montasir Qasymeh, who is in charge of research and innovation at ADU, said, "As the world focuses on using cleaner energy, this partnership shows how ADU is solving important problems in energy. We are turning our discoveries into solutions that make energy use better and reduce harm to the environment. This partnership helps ADU become a key player in the UAE's goal for a clean energy future."
Marc Giroud, the COO of Eoptima SAS, added, "This deal matches our goal of bringing green energy solutions. We are excited to use this new technology to change the way oil is recovered and help make the future cleaner."
With this partnership, ADU is showing how it leads in new ideas and helps solve big problems for the world. It also builds strong connections for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
