Protests have erupted across Sindh, Pakistan, following the brutal murder of Hindu youth Kailash Kolhi, allegedly at the hands of feudal lord Sarfaraz Nizamani. The killing has triggered widespread outrage within the minority community and sparked large demonstrations demanding justice, protection, and equal rights.
Protesters have accused the feudal system of enabling violence and impunity, calling the incident a serious human rights violation and an act of terrorism. Demonstrators are demanding the immediate arrest of the accused and strict legal action, along with stronger measures to protect religious minorities in the province.
The unrest has spread to several parts of Sindh, with activists, civil society groups, and human rights organizations joining the protest movement. The campaign for justice has also gained massive traction on social media, where calls for accountability and minority protection are going viral.
The case has once again highlighted concerns over religious minority safety, the influence of feudal elites, and the failure of law enforcement in Sindh. Protesters warn that if swift action is not taken, public anger will continue to grow, further deepening the crisis of trust in Pakistan’s justice system.
