Roya Vahidi Paints a Dreamy Ocean Scene with a Silent Plea to Save Marine Life | DXB NEWS NETWORK

Art Sets Sail to Save the Sea: Art4you Gallery’s “Brushes for the Blue” live art event, curated by Jesno Jackson at Mehromah Art House, Dubai, spotlighted ocean conservation through powerful visual storytelling. Artists painted on wooden boat panels, symbolizing traditional vessels, to depict marine beauty and environmental threats. The event fused creativity and advocacy, raising awareness about plastic pollution and life below water.

“My painting captured the peaceful beauty of ocean life, where dolphins dance through vibrant coral reefs. But beneath the calm, there’s a silent call for help, threatened by plastic pollution. Inspired by SDG 14, the artwork reflected both wonder and warning. It’s a reminder that protecting marine life is not optional, it’s essential for our shared future on this planet,” says Roya Vahidi from Iran. @roya_vahidi_art
