Putin Offers $1B Trump Board of Peace Permanent Seat Frozen Assets

Post by : Bianca Qureshi

Moscow, Russia – Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia is ready to contribute $1 billion to support permanent membership in U.S. President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace initiative. The contribution could potentially be drawn from Russian sovereign assets currently frozen in the United States.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has been tasked with preparing a detailed analysis and coordinating with partners ahead of a Security Council meeting. Officials indicated that this move positions Russia alongside efforts for Gaza reconstruction and broader global conflict resolution, sparking international debate.

Observers note that the proposal seeks to align with established UN frameworks amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in Ukraine, signaling a possible diplomatic breakthrough within Trump’s peace architecture.
