A deadly tragedy has struck India as heavy flash floods triggered a huge mudslide, burying homes and taking innocent lives. So far, at least 4 people have been confirmed dead, while many are still feared trapped under the mud and debris. Rescue teams are working day and night to search for survivors, but the continuous rainfall is making the operation harder.
Many families have been forced to leave their homes. The government has sent emergency teams and issued warnings in high-risk areas. People are being urged to evacuate immediately.
This heartbreaking disaster shows the growing danger of extreme weather in South Asia. Floods, landslides, and heavy rains are now more common and deadly.
