The Ministry of Education (MoE) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced an extension of the school registration deadline for public schools. Parents now have an extra week to complete the enrolment process for their children for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This decision was made to give families more time to submit the required documents and finalize the admission process without any rush.

Who Can Apply?
The extended registration period applies to all grade levels, from kindergarten to 12th grade, in government schools across the UAE. It includes different groups of students:
New Students: Children enrolling in kindergarten or first grade for the first time.
Transfer Students: Those moving from private schools within the UAE or international schools abroad.
Advanced Track Students: Emirati students in grades 5 to 8 who are eligible for the Advanced Track, previously known as the "Elite" track. This also includes children of Emirati mothers who hold UAE citizenship.
Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this extension to ensure a smooth registration process for their children. The Ministry has urged families to complete all formalities within the given time to avoid any last-minute issues.
For more details, parents can visit the Ministry of Education’s official website or contact their nearest government school.
