The family of a 78-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit against the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, claiming she died due to injuries caused by a faulty revolving door at the hotel.
The lawsuit was submitted to the Clark County District Court on March 18, 2025. It states that Diana Truschke was badly injured on March 21, 2023, when she was forcefully thrown from a malfunctioning revolving door at the hotel. The family claims that hotel staff already knew the door was faulty but failed to fix it. They also argue that the hotel did not follow proper safety rules.
After the incident, Truschke was taken to the hospital, where she received extensive medical care. However, her condition kept getting worse over time. She eventually passed away on October 14, 2024, due to health complications caused by her injuries.

The family is seeking financial compensation from the hotel. They are asking for damages to cover medical expenses, funeral costs, and the pain and suffering caused by the accident.
Trump International Hotel, where the accident happened, is located on Fashion Show Drive in Las Vegas. The hotel is managed by the Trump Organization, with Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump in charge of operations.
The lawsuit claims that the hotel’s negligence and failure to follow safety regulations directly caused Truschke’s injuries and death.
