Sheikh Sultan and Sharjah Leaders Perform Eid Al Fitr Prayer

On Sunday morning, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, along with his family members and other senior officials, took part in the Eid Al Fitr prayer at Al Badi’ Musalla in Sharjah.

The prayer was attended by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, also the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. Many other important leaders and officials joined them, including Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, who is in charge of the Sharjah Ports, Customs, and Free Zones Authority, and Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office. Other key figures present were Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, who heads the Sharjah Charity International, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department, and His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, the Minister of Health and Prevention. Also attending was His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council.

The Eid sermon was delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Al Hammadi, who spoke about the importance of Eid Al Fitr, the festival that comes after the month of Ramadan, a month of fasting and worship for Muslims. He thanked Allah for giving Muslims the strength to fast and pray during Ramadan and talked about the importance of giving Zakat Al Fitr, a charity given at the end of Ramadan to help the less fortunate.

Sheikh Al Hammadi also talked about the value of family ties, especially the importance of honoring parents. He explained that treating parents with kindness and respect is a path to reaching heaven and that people should always help and speak kindly to their parents. The more a person shows love and respect to their parents, the more blessings they receive. He also talked about raising children well so that they can serve their religion and nation in the future.

The preacher encouraged everyone to stay committed to worship and good deeds. He said that it is important to involve families and children in religious practices to build a healthy and strong community. He ended his sermon by praying for the continued prosperity and blessings of the UAE.

After the prayer, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, along with other members of the royal family, exchanged Eid greetings with the sheikhs, officials, and citizens who had gathered there. They also welcomed residents from the Arab and Islamic communities, sharing the joy and blessings of Eid.
