The agreement was signed during IDEX 2025, one of the biggest defense industry events in the world. This collaboration is expected to make the defense sector stronger and reinforce TIP's position as a key manufacturing hub in the region.
The focus of this agreement is to promote teamwork, attract more industrial investments, and encourage innovation that supports economic growth. TIP provides a complete infrastructure with specialized services for defense and security companies.
As part of the deal, TIP will offer Calidus Group a wide range of services, including one-stop-shop assistance and industrial real estate support. These services will specifically benefit the "Alhada" missile factory and Calidus' advanced manufacturing facilities, which will be set up within TIP. The goal is to ensure smooth operations and improve capabilities using top-quality facilities that meet global standards.
Dr. Khalifa Murad Al Blooshi, CEO of Calidus Group, highlighted the importance of this partnership. He explained that the agreement would help the company expand its activities in the aerospace and defense sectors. Dr. Al Blooshi expressed confidence in TIP's ability to support its growth with its efficient and streamlined services.
"This partnership is a big step for us," said Dr. Al Blooshi. "It strengthens our role in producing defense and aerospace equipment according to the highest international standards. We are proud to work with TIP, as this cooperation will help us grow within a supportive and innovative environment that boosts national capabilities in defense and security industries."
The CEO of TIP, Mr. Al Nahdi, also commented on the significance of the collaboration. He said, "This agreement is in line with the UAE's vision to become a global leader in advanced industries. By supporting innovation in the defense sector, we aim to increase the country's competitiveness on both regional and global levels."
TIP has already committed around AED 200 million to improve infrastructure, real estate, and industrial facilities to support Calidus' current and future projects. These investments demonstrate TIP's dedication to providing a supportive environment that makes industrial operations more efficient and competitive.
This partnership is more than just a business deal. It reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the UAE's defense industry, encouraging innovation, and promoting growth. With TIP's reliable infrastructure and Calidus' expertise, this collaboration is set to contribute significantly to the country's industrial development in the years to come.
