The race will have different swimming challenges for all levels. The 10-kilometer race is for swimmers who are really experienced and want a tough challenge. The 5-kilometer race is for swimmers who are in the middle level. It’s a hard but doable distance. There will also be a 2-kilometer race for those who want to swim a shorter distance but still be part of the competition. For families and younger swimmers, there is a 500-meter race, which will be fun and exciting. A special team race, the 3×500 meter relay, will also take place, where teams of swimmers can race together.
Sharjah decided to host the “Ocean Man” competition to show its support for sports and healthy living. It also wants to strengthen its reputation as a place for big international sports events. The competition is expected to bring swimmers from all over the UAE and even from other countries, creating a fun and lively atmosphere along Sharjah’s beautiful beach.
