This year’s competition attracted 634 teams, with 21 teams emerging as winners in the final phase, showcasing a remarkable level of participation from students across the UAE. Mubarmij50 is designed to empower Emirati school students by providing them opportunities to excel in modern technology fields, particularly in coding and robotics.
Al Gergawi expressed his enthusiasm at the gathering of over 1,200 students, teachers, and parents who attended the final stages of the competition. He emphasized that this initiative marks a significant step toward cultivating a new generation adept in technology, positioning the UAE to become a hub for some of the world’s leading coders and innovators in the near future.
He elaborated on the structure of Mubarmij50, which began last year with the establishment of coding clubs in various public and private schools. So far, more than 10,000 students have joined these clubs, enabling them to compete in the main Mubarmij50 competition and to benefit from various courses and programs offered by Sandooq Al Watan in collaboration with Aldar Education.
During the final competitions, the 1,200 participating students were organized into 634 teams. They gathered at a single venue to present their innovative projects and ideas to a specialized judging panel, highlighting their skills and knowledge in coding and robotics. This gathering not only showcased their capabilities but also underscored the importance of fostering a tech-savvy future generation.
Sandooq Al Watan’s commitment to education and technology continues to drive initiatives like Mubarmij50, aiming to inspire and equip young Emiratis with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
