Salem Bin Abdulrahman Crowns BEEAH as Ramadan Padel Tennis Champions

Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, crowned the BEEAH Group team as the champions of the men’s padel tennis tournament at the Sharjah Government Employees Club Ramadan Sports event. The final match took place on Friday evening at the Padel Arena, where BEEAH claimed victory in an exciting showdown.

The BEEAH team defeated the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF Zone) team, who came in second place. The Sharjah Police Sciences Academy team secured third place after a strong performance.

The Ramadan Sports Tournament is an initiative by the Sharjah Government Employees Club aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among government staff. It also gives employees a chance to bond outside of work, encouraging teamwork and positive interactions. The organizers hope to make the event bigger and better each year by attracting more participants and creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

This year’s tournament saw a huge turnout, with 34 teams from 28 different government departments taking part. A total of 68 players competed, making the event lively and competitive. The matches drew a large crowd, with many padel tennis fans cheering from the stands, adding to the excitement.

Held during the holy month of Ramadan, the event provided government employees with a fun way to strengthen their relationships while enjoying some friendly competition. It also gave them a break from their regular routines and encouraged a spirit of sportsmanship and challenge.

The final match and the prize distribution ceremony were attended by several notable figures. Among them were Ahmed Hamad Al Suwaidi, Head of the Ruler's Office, and Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chairman of the Sharjah Government Employees Club. Other officials and representatives from the participating teams were also present, making the event even more special.

The tournament successfully brought together government employees, boosting their team spirit and creating lasting memories.
