Dorival Junior Sacked as Brazil Coach After Argentina Defeat

Brazil's football team is going through a big change after a very bad loss in the World Cup qualifiers. On Friday, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said that coach Dorival Junior lost his job. This happened just three days after Brazil lost 4-1 to Argentina. In a statement, the CBF thanked Dorival for his work and wished him good luck in the future. Dorival, who is 62 years old, became the coach in January 2024 after Fernando Diniz. But his time as coach was short because the team did not play well.

Brazil, which has won the World Cup five times, is now in fourth place in the South American qualifying games. Argentina is in first place and has already secured a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
