Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the resumption of Dubai Metro services at Onpassive, Equiti, and Mashreq stations, effective May 19. Additionally, the Energy Metro Station is scheduled to return to service the following week. This swift restoration comes after completing all necessary maintenance and testing tasks to ensure the stations' full operational readiness and compliance with safety standards, ensuring a secure and seamless experience for the public.
The early resumption of metro station operations underscores the dedicated efforts of RTA and its teams in swiftly restoring Dubai Metro services at the affected stations. It reaffirms their commitment to upholding the highest levels of security and safety for passengers and assets, while delivering integrated transport services aligned with the highest international standards. This collaborative endeavor involves Keolis-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the company responsible for the operation and maintenance of Dubai Metro.

To ensure the efficiency of metro stations and their facilities, RTA has conducted a comprehensive series of operational tests. These tests encompassed various aspects, including platform doors, lifts, escalators, and other service facilities. Vital indicators of train power were also assessed to ensure smooth movement between metro stations. Moreover, service frequency trials, conducted without passengers, were carried out to verify the accuracy of metro journey times at the stations.
Furthermore, RTA remains committed to facilitating passenger travel and ensuring the seamless integration of various mobility modes across Dubai. To this end, metro feeder bus services will continue to operate in alignment with the metro's operating hours, enhancing accessibility and convenience for commuters throughout their journeys.
