PrecisionMed Exhibition & Summit Returns to UAE with Exciting Developments in Precision Medicine
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates | 04 May 2024: The UAE is set to host the third edition of the PrecisionMed Exhibition & Summit (PMES) later this month, highlighting the advancements in precise and personalized healthcare across the GCC. Scheduled for 8-9 May 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the summit is expected to attract over 5,000 attendees, including hospital executives, government officials, clinicians, and innovators.
This key event, supported by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, and the Dubai Health Authority, will feature a CME-accredited scientific conference with a focus on precision medicine. Dr. Asma Ibrahim Al Mannaei, Executive Director of the Research and Innovation Centre at DoH Abu Dhabi, will inaugurate the conference.
Adding a personal touch to the proceedings, Jimi Olaghere, who overcame sickle cell disease through a pioneering CRISPR trial, will share his inspiring journey during his first appearance in the MENA region. Other notable speakers include Dr. Mariam Al Mazrouei, Dr. Khulood Alsayegh, Dr. Heidi Rehm from Harvard Medical School, and several more esteemed professionals.
David Stradling, Managing Director of PMES, emphasized that precision medicine is swiftly becoming the future of healthcare in the GCC. This year's summit aims to democratize healthcare knowledge with open access to its world-class CME-accredited sessions, helping professionals improve patient care and stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
