Nahyan bin Mubarak Attends Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024 Event

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, recently visited the Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2024 event. This event, organized by the ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, is being held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi and will run until August 23, 2024.

Spanning over 34,000 square meters, the event features a variety of group sports activities designed to foster interaction among community members and promote a healthy, active lifestyle. The aim is to make sports an integral part of individuals’ lives, enhancing their overall quality of life.

During his tour of the facilities, Sheikh Nahyan was briefed by His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, on the range of activities included in this year's event. The event is open to individuals of all fitness levels, ensuring that everyone can participate and benefit from the diverse sports offerings.

Sheikh Nahyan praised the high level of organization and the efforts made to provide an exceptional experience for all participants. He emphasized that Abu Dhabi Summer Sports embodies the spirit of tolerance and human brotherhood, reflecting the inclusive values of the community.

Now in its third season, Abu Dhabi Summer Sports has expanded to include several new activities such as cricket, tennis, and an obstacle course, alongside traditional favorites like football, padel, a 1km running track, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and a dedicated fitness area. The event continues to grow, offering more opportunities for community engagement and physical activity each year.
