CES 2025: Samsung Introduces 'Vision AI' for On-Device TV Features

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, Samsung introduced new and exciting features for its TVs and other entertainment gadgets. These new features, called “Vision AI,” are designed to make the devices smarter and help users more. Samsung also worked with Microsoft and Google to add even more useful features to their TVs, speakers, and soundbars.

With Vision AI, Samsung TVs can understand the surroundings and adjust to what the user wants. One new feature is called Click to Search. This feature helps users find more details about what they are watching on the screen, like who the actors are or what’s happening in the scene. Another new feature, Live Translate, translates subtitles in real time, so users can watch shows in different languages. There is also a feature called Generative Wallpaper, which lets users create their own artwork to show on the TV when it's not being used.

Samsung also worked with Microsoft to offer personalized suggestions for TV shows and movies. They teamed up with Google to make Vision AI even better and add more useful features.

Samsung also announced a new 3D sound system called Eclipsa Audio, made with Google. This sound system will be available on Samsung’s 2025 TVs and soundbars. Eclipsa Audio lets sound move in different directions, making it feel more real and exciting. Soon, videos with this new 3D sound will be available on YouTube. People with Samsung devices will be able to enjoy these videos with great sound.

These new features and partnerships show that Samsung is working to make its devices smarter, easier to use, and more fun for everyone.
