Aydin Brown, 14, who went missing after disembarking from the Caribbean Princess cruise ship at Rostock-Warnemünde in Germany on Thursday morning, has been found safe, confirmed by a family member on Saturday.
The teenager, traveling with his grandmother, left the ship upon docking, prompting a search effort by local and state police. Security footage showed Brown with an unidentified man, and authorities sought information on the man's identity and their interactions.
On Saturday, German authorities distributed new photos of Brown as part of their ongoing search. They reported that he and the unidentified man were seen walking towards Warnemünde church square around 7:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Princess Cruises expressed relief and gratitude to German authorities for swiftly locating Brown. In a statement, the cruise line acknowledged the efforts made in reuniting him with his family and ensuring his safety.

Brown's grandmother departed the ship on Thursday evening amid the initial search, and the cruise company facilitated his mother's travel to Germany to assist in the search efforts and provide support to the family.
The Caribbean Princess, on a 12-day Baltic Sea journey, departed from Southampton, England, on June 30, with stops planned in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Stockholm, Sweden, before returning on July 12.
The incident caused distress among passengers and crew, with Princess Cruises pledging continued support to Brown's family during this challenging time.
