Traveling with a newborn on a flight can be a challenge, and one Indian couple wanted to make the journey smoother for everyone around them. While flying from Delhi to Bengaluru with their six-month-old son, they went the extra mile to ensure their fellow passengers had a comfortable experience.
Knowing that their baby might cry during the flight, the parents thoughtfully prepared small comfort packets for the people sitting nearby. Each packet contained chocolates, a pair of earplugs, and a heartfelt note from their little son, Jeremiah.

A man shared their experience on Reddit, explaining that he wasn’t sure how his baby would react to his first-ever flight. So, as a kind gesture, they decided to distribute these small gifts. The note inside the packet read:
"Hello, kind stranger! My name is Jeremiah, and today is my first-ever flight! Since I am only six months old, I might get a little cranky. My ears might pop, my tummy might feel funny, and I may express my feelings loudly (I am told that’s called crying). As a small sorry for any in-flight drama, please enjoy these earplugs and chocolates to make your trip to Bengaluru sweeter. Thank you for your patience! I promise to work on my travel manners for my next trip. With love (and maybe a few wails), Jeremiah."
While many passengers found the gesture adorable, the couple also faced some rude reactions. Some people didn’t bother to open the packet, and a few even gave them unfriendly looks. “The guy sitting right next to us didn’t even read the note and seemed irritated the moment he saw us,” the father shared. “Some people behind us just left the packets untouched. We collected the leftover ones to avoid waste. But we also heard a few ladies saying how cute it was.”
Despite a few cold reactions, the couple’s sweet effort did not go unnoticed. The IndiGo flight crew and even the pilot were touched by their kindness. The pilot stepped out to meet the family, took pictures with them, and even offered them biscuits.
The cabin crew also gave them a special handwritten card, which read:
"Enjoy your flight with IndiGo from Delhi to Bengaluru. It was a pleasure to host your first flight. Wishing you amazing health. Grow tall and handsome."
This heartwarming act of kindness shows that even small gestures can make a big difference. While not everyone may appreciate them, spreading positivity and consideration can turn a simple journey into a memorable one.
