Dubai: To accommodate the large number of worshippers and Umrah pilgrims during Ramadan, the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has placed 20,000 Zamzam water containers across the Grand Mosque. This step ensures that visitors can easily access the blessed water while keeping hygiene and order in check.
Authorities have asked visitors to follow the rules and use the water responsibly. They have reminded people to dispose of plastic cups in the provided waste bins and not to open water containers. These efforts aim to maintain cleanliness and make the experience smooth for everyone.

Apart from Zamzam water, fully equipped ablution (wudu) areas have been set up at key locations. These include the King Fahd expansion area, which can be reached using escalators and elevators, the Mas’a area near Al Marwah, and the courtyards on both the eastern and western sides of the mosque.
Additional facilities have also been added between Mecca Company and Dar Al Tawhid, as well as in the northern courtyards, to serve the increasing number of visitors.
Officials have once again reminded everyone that Zamzam water is strictly for drinking and should not be used for ablution. Worshippers are encouraged to use the designated wudu areas instead.
