The Global Prompt Engineering Championship is back for its second edition! It is being organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) and will take place in Dubai as part of Dubai AI Week, from April 21 to April 25. The event will be held at the AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers, with the finals happening on April 22 and 23. The championship is happening under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF).
The event has received a lot of attention, with over 3,800 entries from 125 countries. After a voting process, 24 finalists from 16 different countries have been chosen to compete in the finals. These finalists will show their talent in creating content using AI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney. They will have to create high-quality work within a set amount of time, using clear and effective prompts to guide their work.
