Dubai International Airport (DXB) is getting ready for one of its busiest travel periods ever! More than 3.6 million passengers are expected to pass through the airport during the Eid holiday rush from March 26 to April 7.

The busiest day will be Saturday, April 5, when 309,000 travelers are expected to fly in and out of DXB. On average, around 276,000 passengers will pass through the airport every day, with the highest numbers seen in the first week of April.

Why So Many People Are Traveling?

  • Many schools are closed for spring break, so families are taking vacations.

  • More people are flying to visit family and friends in India, Pakistan, and the UK.

  • Holiday trips to Sri Lanka, Türkiye, and Italy are also becoming more popular.

How DXB is Helping Travelers?

Dubai Airport is making sure everything runs smoothly during this busy period. Here’s what they are doing:

DXB Express Maps – This new tool helps travelers find their way inside the airport. By scanning a QR code on flight information screens, passengers can:

  • Find their boarding gate quickly.

  • See a map of restaurants and shops.

  • Locate important facilities like washrooms and lounges.

Support for People of Determination (PoD) – The airport has special services for passengers with disabilities:

  • Accessibility routes that are easy to follow.

  • Staff wearing Sunflower pins to help guests who need extra support.

  • A special lounge in Terminal 2 for travelers who need assistance.

Teamwork for a Smooth Travel Experience

Dubai Airports is working closely with airlines, government authorities, and service partners to make sure all travelers have a stress-free journey.

If you are flying through DXB and need travel updates, airport services, or accessibility support, visit www.dubaiairports.ae. You can also use DXB Express Maps by scanning QR codes placed around the terminals.

Get ready for a smooth and exciting journey this Eid!
