Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has said that real estate deals in the city grew by 24.2% in 2024. This shows that the real estate market in Abu Dhabi is doing well and is becoming a popular place for investors from all over the world. The market now has many choices for people who want to buy or invest in property, which helped the total value of all real estate deals reach AED 96.2 billion, a 10.45% increase from last year.

Out of all the deals, there were 16,735 sales of properties worth AED 58.5 billion and 11,514 mortgage deals worth AED 37.7 billion.
In 2024, Abu Dhabi launched 38 new real estate projects for people to buy before they are finished. There were also 12 big projects that were completed. These projects were chosen carefully for their variety, good designs, and reasonable prices, making them attractive to many investors.
Engineer Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General at ADREC, said: “The growth of Abu Dhabi’s real estate market shows that we have a plan to keep the market steady.”
Abu Dhabi was also ranked among the top five cities in the world for improving its real estate market in 2024 by the Global Real Estate Transparency Index (GRETI). This is a sign that the city is working hard to make sure the market is clear and trustworthy.
In 2024, the city saw a big jump in foreign investment, with a 125% increase compared to last year. Over AED 7.86 billion was invested by people from 105 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Russia, France, and China.
Al Omaira added: “The rise in foreign investment shows that Abu Dhabi is strong and able to grow even when the world’s economy is changing. This is because of the smart plans, good rules for business, and excellent buildings and services that make Abu Dhabi a great place to invest.”
ADREC continues to work on making Abu Dhabi a top place for people to invest in real estate. The sector plays an important role in helping the city grow and improve, with new projects that make life better for those living in Abu Dhabi.
