UAE President’s Cup 2025 Unveils Largest Prizes in Arabian Horse Racing – Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed

Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and President of the Presidential Court, the Higher Organizing Committee has announced the official schedule for the 32nd edition of the UAE President’s Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses in 2025. This prestigious series, recognized as one of the most important events in Arabian horse racing, will feature an impressive prize pool of over AED 15 million, making it the richest and most valuable edition in the history of the sport.

The upcoming edition will include 17 races across multiple locations, bringing together top competitors from around the world. The race series will span 11 European venues, including Russia and Turkey, in addition to five locations across the Arab world and one in the United States. The series is set to begin in Tunisia on April 20, where prizes totaling 500,000 Tunisian Dinars will be awarded. It will then move to Morocco on April 26, offering 250,000 Euros in prize money, followed by France on May 11 with a purse of 350,000 Euros. The US race will take place on May 17, with a prize of $200,000.

Italy will host a race on May 18, offering 300,000 Euros, followed by Sweden on June 6 with 100,000 Euros in prizes. The competition continues in Germany on July 6 with a 250,000 Euro purse, followed by the Netherlands on August 3 with 100,000 Euros and Spain on August 15 with 200,000 Euros. Russia’s event on August 30 will offer $100,000, while Belgium will host a race on September 2 with a 200,000 Euro prize. Türkiye’s leg of the series will be held on September 7, offering a prize of $250,000, followed by England on September 13, where the prize pool will reach 400,000 GBP.

Poland will host its race on September 28, awarding 200,000 Euros, before the series moves to Egypt on October 25, with prizes of 500,000 AED. Libya’s race on October 26 will feature a grand prize of 1 million AED, while the final leg in Saudi Arabia on November 21 will see a prize pool of SAR 1.5 million.

His Excellency Matar Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, expressed his deep appreciation for the unwavering support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He highlighted that the UAE President’s Cup has become the most distinguished event in Arabian horse racing, thanks to the leadership’s vision and dedication.

“We are honored to unveil the 2025 schedule of the UAE President’s Cup, and we extend our sincere gratitude to our wise leadership for their boundless support,” Al Dhaheri stated. “The continued growth and global expansion of this race series are a testament to the UAE’s commitment to promoting Arabian horse racing on the world stage. With 17 races in different countries, this edition will be a true celebration of the rich heritage and excellence of Arabian horses.”

His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary-General of the UAE President’s Cup Series, also acknowledged the key role played by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in elevating the series to international prominence. He emphasized that the 32nd edition of the event will be the most prestigious and valuable in the history of Arabian horse racing.

“This year’s UAE President’s Cup is not only the biggest in terms of prize value, but it is also a defining moment in Arabian horse racing,” Al Rahmani said. “Thanks to the leadership’s remarkable support, the UAE President’s Cup has reached unprecedented heights, making it a gateway for champions and a top-tier global racing event.”

He further noted that the increased prize money marks a historic milestone in the evolution of Arabian horse racing. “The generous support from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed has set a new benchmark for this prestigious competition,” he added. “The UAE President’s Cup has become a dream for horse owners, breeders, and jockeys worldwide, inspiring them to take part in this remarkable journey of excellence.”

Al Rahmani concluded by extending his congratulations to the entire Arabian horse racing community, including breeders, trainers, and horse owners across the globe. He expressed his gratitude for their continued cooperation and support and wished for a highly successful and memorable racing season ahead.
