His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has given orders to help Emirati citizens with new housing benefits. His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved a housing support package worth AED 6.75 billion. This support will help 4,356 Emirati citizens in Abu Dhabi, giving them better homes and more stable lives.

The housing support includes different types of help. There will be housing loans worth AED 5.08 billion, which will go to 3,172 citizens so they can buy or build their homes. Another 1,100 citizens will get land grants or ready-made houses, worth AED 1.585 billion. Also, 84 senior citizens, low-income retirees, and families of deceased citizens will be excused from paying back their housing loans. This loan exemption is worth AED 94.8 million.
Since the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority was created, more than 123,000 Emirati citizens have received housing benefits, with a total value of AED 168.85 billion. The first housing support package for 2025 is being given before Eid Al Fitr, showing the leadership’s care for the people. The goal is to make sure Emirati families have safe and happy lives, giving them the right homes to support their needs.
His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, thanked the UAE leaders for their care and kindness. He said this new housing support will improve the lives of citizens and make their families stronger and happier. He also said that such help brings people together and makes Abu Dhabi a more stable and peaceful place to live.
His Excellency Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said that this housing support shows the leaders’ strong commitment to helping Emiratis. He said the government always works hard to make sure Emirati families live with dignity and comfort. He also said that good housing is important for a strong and successful country.
