Dubai, UAE – April 21, 2025: The 21st edition of Dubai WoodShow, the region’s premier event for the wood and woodworking machinery sector, has concluded on a high note at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organized by Strategic Exhibitions & Conferences, the three-day event welcomed an impressive 17,830 visitors from 172 countries, further solidifying its reputation as the MENA region's foremost gathering for wood industry professionals.
This year’s edition attracted robust participation from across the globe, drawing in industry leaders, investors, and key decision-makers. The dynamic environment fostered innovation, knowledge-sharing, and lucrative partnerships, reaffirming Dubai WoodShow’s growing influence as a strategic business and networking hub for the global wood sector.
Exhibitors expressed notable satisfaction with both the quality and volume of attendees, praising the event’s organization and high-level engagement. Many exhibitors, including long-time participants, have already confirmed their participation for the next edition, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from September 7 to 9, 2025. Several companies also revealed plans to expand their presence, reserving larger exhibition spaces for future editions.
Numerous on-site deals were sealed during the event, aided by active visitor interaction and the presence of government officials and global industry experts. These interactions played a vital role in fostering strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
The 2025 show boasted 12 international pavilions, featuring countries such as the USA, China, Portugal, France, Germany, India, Italy, Egypt, Gabon, Austria, Turkey, and Russia. A total of 784 exhibitors from 56 countries took part, representing over 1,662 brands across the wood product and machinery supply chain.
Prominent industry names like Pfeifer Group, Pollmeier, Biesse Group, Binderholz, SCM (ITALCO), Homag (Holzcraft), and Cefla Middle East were among those showcasing cutting-edge technologies and sustainable wood solutions. The exhibition was further supported by renowned international organizations including American Hardwood Export Council, French Timber, American Softwood, and AIMMP from Portugal.
The event also recognized outstanding innovation, design, and leadership through its closing awards ceremony. ITALCO Middle East was celebrated for its role in advancing Italian woodworking technology in the region. CEO Abdalla Al Sayeh highlighted the show’s importance in demonstrating new machinery in an interactive setting.
The Best Stand Design award was jointly awarded to Neu Holz and Segezha Group. Representatives from both companies lauded the event's professional execution and the opportunity it offered to showcase eco-conscious technologies and customer-centric innovations.
Notably, Kastamonu took home first place in the Innovative Wood Products category, while Unilam Wood Industries claimed second. IMAC Gulf also earned recognition for their forward-thinking solutions in the Innovative Woodworking Machinery category.
Complementing the exhibition floor were panel discussions, live demonstrations, and technical workshops that tackled the latest trends, sustainability practices, and advanced technologies shaping the wood and woodworking industry. These sessions served as a platform for global professionals to share expertise, explore market challenges, and discuss the future of the industry.
