Sean Kingston & Mom Convicted in $1M Fraud Case – Facing 20 Years

Singer Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, have been found guilty in a fraud case. They could go to jail for up to 20 years. The case is about a $1 million scam where they tricked businesses into giving them expensive jewelry and luxury cars without paying for them.

The trial happened in Florida. Prosecutors said Kingston and his mother lied about sending money to companies. They claimed to have made bank transfers, but the money never arrived. This trick made businesses lose a lot of money.

When the jury announced they were guilty, Kingston looked sad. The judge said his mother might try to run away, so she was taken to jail immediately. Kingston was allowed to stay at home under house arrest until his sentencing on July 11.

Both were found guilty of planning fraud and committing fraud four times. Each crime could mean 20 years in jail. This means they might stay in prison for a very long time.

During the trial, Kingston’s mother admitted she did not handle his money well. She also said she made fake money transfers. This made the case against them even stronger.

Kingston has not said anything about the court’s decision. Before, he told his fans not to worry and said his lawyers were taking care of everything. But now, he and his mother could be in jail for many years.
