Priyanka Chopra becomes India's highest-paid actress with £2.7M payday

Reports say that for her upcoming film with famous directors SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu, Priyanka will earn £2.7 million (₹30 crore). Priyanka Chopra has not been in Indian films since The Sky Is Pink in 2019, and before that, Jai Gangaajal. Instead of only focusing on Bollywood, she built a strong career in Hollywood. She starred in movies like The White Tiger and The Matrix Resurrections, and she worked in the popular Amazon Prime series Citadel, where she earned more than £4 million (₹41 crore). Priyanka also has a film called Heads of State with Idris Elba and John Cena, which is set to release soon.
