Mohammed bin Rashid Welcomes Ramadan Well-Wishers in Dubai

Dubai’s Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, welcomed Ramadan well-wishers at Al Mudaif Majlis in Union House, Dubai, today.

He was joined by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, as well as His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance of the UAE.

A large number of people, including senior officials, business leaders, and respected members of the community, came to extend their Ramadan greetings. Sheikh Mohammed warmly greeted them and expressed his appreciation for their presence.

During the gathering, he spoke about the deep-rooted values of Emirati society that reflect the true essence of Ramadan. He emphasized how this holy month brings people together, encouraging kindness, generosity, and unity. This year, Ramadan holds even greater significance as it aligns with the announcement by the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, declaring 2025 as the ‘Year of the Community.’

The discussions at the event focused on how Ramadan fosters compassion and solidarity among people. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the teachings of Islam encourage peace, cooperation, and support for those in need, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to these values.
