His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who serves as the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, led a special ceremony where 34 newly appointed judges took their oath to serve in Dubai Courts. This important event took place at the historic Union House in Dubai.
The ceremony was attended by several distinguished leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE. Also present were His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also attended the event.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed wished the newly appointed judges success in their roles. He reminded them of their great responsibility in maintaining justice, ensuring fairness, and protecting the rights of individuals in society. He emphasized that judges play a crucial role in making sure Dubai’s judicial system remains strong and trustworthy.
Sheikh Mohammed spoke about the importance of justice in keeping society safe and peaceful. He explained that fairness in the legal system helps a country grow and prosper. He also shared his confidence in Dubai’s judiciary and promised to support its continued development so that it remains a model of integrity and efficiency.

Many key officials also attended the ceremony, including His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of HH The Dubai Ruler's Court and Vice Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council; His Excellency Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai; His Excellency Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Courts; and His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council.
This swearing-in ceremony was a significant moment, marking the start of a new chapter for Dubai’s judicial system, ensuring that fairness and justice remain at the heart of governance.
