Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the son of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, went to the closing ceremony of the Chess Education Initiative. This event was part of a program started by His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah and organized by the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club. The Fujairah Foundation for Regions Development helped to organize it as well. The program focused on ten community councils in Fujairah.

At the ceremony, Sheikh Hamad honored the winners, the partners who helped, and the volunteers who worked on the program. The event saw a big turnout, with 324 male and female players from different parts of Fujairah joining the event. The program also included chess training workshops at the community council locations.
The goal of the program was to make more people in Fujairah interested in chess, grow the number of chess players, and find new talent. It aimed to spread the love for chess and get more people involved in the game.
