The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi has started a new program called the Value Housing Programme. This program aims to make the housing market more flexible and help improve the living conditions of people and families in the city. The goal is to build strong communities where people can live together and support each other, which matches the UAE's focus on community in 2024.

The Value Housing Programme will provide affordable and high-quality homes. This way, many people will be able to find a home that meets their needs. The program is part of the plan to build lively and welcoming communities in Abu Dhabi. By offering both affordable and great homes, the program wants to make the city a better place to live for everyone.

To make the program a success, DMT has worked with companies in the real estate industry. They signed agreements with Sdeira Group (formerly KEZAD Communities) to build homes and business spaces. They also partnered with Central Holding Group, a top real estate company in Abu Dhabi. These agreements will help share knowledge and make housing projects better and faster.

His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of DMT, said that these partnerships are important to create neighborhoods that set new standards for quality and innovation. He also said that the goal is to meet the growing need for homes in the city, while also offering homes that make people feel better and improve their quality of life.

The DMT plans to continue working closely with developers and investors to keep the Value Housing Programme moving forward. By teaming up with others, they hope to keep improving the housing market in Abu Dhabi, making sure there are good housing options for all kinds of people.

These efforts also help Abu Dhabi maintain its high living standards. The city was recently named the most liveable city in the MENA region by the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Global Liveability Index 2024. The Value Housing Programme is one more step in making Abu Dhabi an even better place to live.
