Emaar Polo Cup 2026 Kicks Off 7th Edition with Spectacular Draw

Dubai, UAE – January 30, 2026: The much-anticipated live draw for the 7th edition of the Emaar Polo Cup was held in the heart of downtown Dubai, officially marking the start of the prestigious tournament, which will run from February 3 to 15, 2026. The launch was elevated to a spectacular level with a mesmerizing video show projected on Emaar’s iconic Burj Khalifa, celebrating the tournament, participating teams, and key partners, setting an inspiring tone for the UAE’s polo season.

Over its history, the Emaar Polo Cup has grown from a modest four-team event to one of the region’s most respected polo tournaments. The 2026 edition features 10 competitive teams, highlighting both the sport’s rising profile and Dubai’s commitment to excellence in equestrian sports. This year’s championship promises thrilling matches, elite talent, and strong leadership, reinforcing the tournament’s status on the regional polo calendar.

The tournament launch attracted a notable turnout of senior officials, team representatives, media, and partners. Guests were treated to a visually stunning presentation, combining dynamic launch visuals on Burj Khalifa with keynote addresses that highlighted the tournament’s evolution, competitive depth, and positive community impact.

This year’s edition offers a prize pool of AED 120,000 for the winning team, alongside a 212 vehicle courtesy of Legend Motors, while the runner-up will receive AED 75,000. An MVP award of AED 5,000 will recognize the tournament’s most outstanding player.

The 10 teams competing in the 2026 Emaar Polo Cup are: AM Polo, BinDrai Polo, El Basha Polo, Equiti Polo, Noon Polo, Ghrghar Polo, Ankora Polo, Bhansali Polo, Jehangiri Polo, and Ghantoot Polo. The official draw grouped the teams as follows:

• Group A: Bhansali, Ankora, Equiti

• Group B: Bin Drai, Ghantoot, Jehangiri

• Group C: AM Polo, Noon, El Basha, Ghrghar

The tournament showcases a mix of established stables, emerging teams, and high-profile leaders in the sport, including Rashed Al Abbar of Noon Polo and Sheikha Alia Al Maktoum of AM Polo, ensuring an exceptional level of competition.

Title sponsor Emaar, alongside key partners Legend Motors, CMC Hospital, and Dubai Sports Council, reinforce the championship’s strong commercial and community support.
