Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) and J.P. Morgan have entered a new strategic partnership aimed at strengthening women’s participation in the UAE workforce through targeted development and empowerment programmes.
The agreement, signed in Dubai by DWE CEO Naeema Ahli and Khaled Hobballah, Senior Country Officer for the Middle East and North Africa at J.P. Morgan, sets a framework for long-term cooperation between the two organisations. The collaboration focuses on advancing women’s economic opportunities and building career pathways supported by practical training and professional exposure.
Under the MoU, both sides will work together to design and roll out initiatives across key focus areas, including economic empowerment, leadership preparation, career development and mentorship. The programmes will include workshops, sector-focused seminars and networking events that bring together women from different industries to exchange insights and build connections.
J.P. Morgan will support the collaboration by contributing its global expertise to training modules and by helping shape workshops and joint events. The bank will also provide mentorship opportunities to participants taking part in the development tracks created under the partnership.
The initiative aligns with DWE’s ongoing efforts to expand women’s contributions to the national economy through strategic partnerships that offer real, practical value. The collaboration is expected to introduce new avenues for capacity-building, allowing Emirati women to access global best practices and gain hands-on guidance relevant to today’s workplace expectations.
With both organisations committed to widening opportunities for women, the partnership marks a new step in strengthening the UAE’s talent ecosystem and supporting sustained economic growth.
