Dubai Municipality Launches Hatta Waste Management Project Dubai: Dubai Municipality has unveiled a comprehensive waste management project in the Hatta region aimed at promoting sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact. The project's cornerstone lies in an advanced segregation facility at the Hatta landfill, where up to 20 tonnes of municipal waste are diverted from landfills daily. This facility ensures treatable waste is channeled to specialized units, contributing to Dubai's waste management objectives.

An integral aspect of the project is the outsourcing of waste collection, transportation, and recycling services, demonstrating the municipality's commitment to fostering partnerships with the private sector for enhanced service delivery.
