Dubai Chamber of Commerce has reported a remarkable increase in new business registrations across various industries in 2024. The latest figures show that 70,500 new companies became members of the Chamber last year, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global business hub.
One of the fastest-growing sectors was construction, which saw a 33% rise in new company registrations compared to 2023. A total of 7,434 new construction companies joined the Chamber, reflecting the sector’s expanding role in Dubai’s economy.
The real estate, renting, and business services sector also experienced steady growth. Last year, 23,204 new companies from this sector registered with the Chamber, marking an 8.4% increase compared to the previous year.

Similarly, the transport, storage, and communication sector welcomed 5,901 new companies, recording an 8.3% rise from 2023 figures. The financial intermediation sector, which includes banking and financial services, also saw growth, with 1,830 new companies joining, reflecting another 8.3% increase.
In addition, 29,000 new businesses from the trading and services sector became Chamber members in 2024. This shows the sector's crucial role in helping Dubai expand and diversify its economy.
These numbers highlight how Dubai continues to attract businesses from around the world. With its strong infrastructure, business-friendly policies, and global connectivity, Dubai remains one of the most attractive destinations for entrepreneurs and investors.
