Deliveroo has announced its support for the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This campaign, introduced during Ramadan, aims to honor fathers in the UAE by creating a long-term endowment fund that will help provide healthcare and treatment to people in need.
As part of this effort, Deliveroo has made it easier for its customers to donate directly to the campaign through a special section on its mobile app. Users can now contribute any amount of their choice, starting from AED 10 and going up to AED 500, to support the noble cause. The Deliveroo app, available on Google Play, Apple’s App Store, and Huawei’s AppGallery, allows anyone to make a quick and secure donation, helping to create a sustainable healthcare system for underserved communities.

Encouraging Community Participation
The Fathers’ Endowment campaign is built on the principles of generosity, solidarity, and compassion. It not only encourages people to donate but also promotes the idea of charitable endowments, ensuring that the funds collected continue to benefit people for years to come. The goal is to create a widespread community movement that supports sustainable healthcare for those who cannot afford medical treatment.
Taghrid Oraibi, Head of Communications at Deliveroo Middle East, shared the company’s excitement about supporting this meaningful initiative. She highlighted that the campaign is a wonderful way to honor fathers while helping those in need. By donating, individuals can contribute to an endowment fund that will provide healthcare to poor and underserved communities worldwide.
“Deliveroo is proud to take part in the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative truly reflects the UAE’s humanitarian values, and we want to play a role in its success. We encourage everyone in our community to join us in supporting this noble cause,” said Oraibi.
She further emphasized that Deliveroo believes in working together to spread the UAE’s message of giving and kindness to people all over the world.
A Lasting Tribute to Fathers
One of the most special aspects of this campaign is that it allows individuals to donate in their father’s name. The Fathers’ Endowment campaign not only provides healthcare support but also promotes the values of respect for parents, kindness, and generosity.
By establishing a sustainable endowment fund, the UAE is strengthening its role as a global leader in humanitarian work. The campaign ensures that medical assistance reaches those who need it most, improving their health and quality of life.
