Saudi police in Riyadh have apprehended eight illegal residents accused of stealing vehicles and utilizing them in a string of robberies. According to a statement released by the authorities in Cairo, the suspects targeted under-construction buildings, pilfering building materials and possessions from security guards at gunpoint.
The law enforcement officials disclosed that the culprits had stolen two vehicles for their criminal activities. However, swift action by the authorities led to the recovery of the stolen vehicles. The suspects have since been referred to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.
Saudi Arabia, with a population of approximately 32.2 million people, accommodates a significant expatriate workforce. Recent arrests by Saudi authorities underscore their commitment to maintaining law and order and curbing instances of criminal activity.
