UAE announces Ramadan working hours for federal government offices

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has officially announced the working hours for federal employees during Ramadan 2025. This information was shared through a circular issued to all federal authorities.

As per the circular, the official working hours for ministries and federal offices will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, employees will work from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

FAHR also mentioned that ministries and federal authorities have the option to introduce flexible working hours or remote work arrangements. These adjustments can be made based on the specific needs of each department, as long as they follow the approved daily working hours.

In honor of the Holy Month of Ramadan, FAHR extended warm greetings to the UAE’s leadership, as well as to all citizens and residents of the country.
