The Trump Organization, owned by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, and Dar Global, a real estate company from Saudi Arabia, announced two new projects in Riyadh. They didn’t give more details about these projects, like their cost, but it shows they are working together more closely.

Dar Global is part of Dar Al Arkan, a big real estate company in Saudi Arabia. Dar Global is listed on the London Stock Exchange. In the past, Dar Global worked with The Trump Organization on other projects. These include plans for Trump towers in Jeddah and Dubai, and a $4 billion real estate project in Oman.
Trump made strong ties with Gulf countries, like Saudi Arabia, when he was president. These ties also helped with business. For example, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund gave $2 billion to a company started by Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, after Trump left office.
Some of Trump’s friends and partners have also continued business in Gulf countries since he stopped being president in 2021.
When Trump was president, he didn’t sell his businesses or put them in a trust like other presidents do. Instead, he let his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump, run the Trump Organization. Many people said this could cause problems because it wasn’t clear where Trump’s interests were.
Eric Trump, who helps run The Trump Organization, is going to visit Saudi Arabia this week. He will be there to launch Trump Tower Jeddah, a big project. Before going to Saudi Arabia, Eric will also speak at a Bitcoin event in the United Arab Emirates.
These new projects in Riyadh show that The Trump Organization wants to grow in other countries. Working with Dar Global shows how important Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region are for real estate.
