Truecaller, a well-known global app, has introduced a big update for iPhone users. This update brings all of Truecaller's call-blocking features to iPhones, just like it works on Android phones. With this update, Truecaller can now identify all types of calls, helping to block unwanted calls, scams, and spam.

The new feature works thanks to Apple’s technology called Live Caller ID Lookup, which helps apps like Truecaller show who is calling. This system keeps everything private and secure. Truecaller is the first app to use this technology for caller ID at such a big scale.
Truecaller has been helping people avoid unwanted calls for 15 years, and with this update, it can use its smart technology and big database to identify more calls. As long as Truecaller knows the caller, it will show who is calling on your iPhone.
Another exciting feature in this update is that Truecaller can now automatically block spam calls. This has been a highly requested feature from iPhone users. You can also now look back at up to 2,000 past calls in your iPhone’s recent call list.
Truecaller has also added a Family plan that lets you share the premium benefits with up to four other people for a low monthly or yearly price.
To use the new features, make sure you have Truecaller version 14.0 or later on your iPhone. Then, go to Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification and turn on all the switches for Truecaller. After this, open the Truecaller app to complete the setup.
Rishit Jhunjhunwala, the CEO of Truecaller, said, "We are excited to bring all the great features of Truecaller to iPhone. Our iPhone users have wanted this for a long time, and now we’ve made it happen while making sure privacy is always kept safe."
These new features will be available to Truecaller Premium users. Free users will still be able to search numbers and see who’s calling from verified businesses. The new spam call-blocking feature will be available around the world, and the Caller ID feature will be rolled out soon to all users.
Truecaller helps over 433 million active users around the world. It has been downloaded more than a billion times, and in 2023, it blocked almost 46 billion unwanted calls. Truecaller is based in Stockholm and has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since October 2021.
