Soyuz Rocket Sends Kim, Ryzhikov, Zubritsky to ISS

NASA space man Jonny Kim and two Russian friends flew to the space station on Tuesday. They went in a Russian space car called Soyuz. The rocket went up from a place called Baikonur in Kazakhstan, which is a country in Central Asia. Russia uses this place for space travel. The rocket took off on time and sent the space car into the sky. After about three hours, it will join the space station.

Jonny Kim, Sergey Ryzhikov, and Alexey Zubritsky will stay in space for eight months. They will live and work inside the space station. They will do science work and try out new machines. These things will help people in the future when they go to space again. The work will also help people who live on Earth.

Jonny Kim is from Los Angeles, USA. He works in the U.S. Navy. He flies planes and also helps people as a doctor. In space, he will do many important jobs with science and health.

When they reach the space station, they will meet other people already living there. These people are from different countries. From NASA, there is Don Pettit, Anne McClain, and Nichole Ayers. There is also a man from Japan, Takuya Onishi. From Russia, there are Alexey Ovchinin, Ivan Vagner, and Kirill Peskov.

This space trip shows how people from many countries can work together. They all want to learn more and help both space travel and life on Earth.
