President Sisi expressed Egypt's continued support for Estonia within European Union institutions, particularly on issues of priority to Egypt. Regional concerns, such as the Palestinian cause, were also high on the agenda. Sisi informed Karis about Egypt's ongoing efforts to stop the Israeli escalation in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria, calling for unified efforts to bring about an immediate ceasefire and avoid further regional conflict. He reaffirmed the importance of establishing a sovereign Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, which he views as crucial for regional stability.

The two leaders also discussed ongoing challenges in Libya, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, and the broader Red Sea security issues. Additionally, they addressed the impact of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Sisi and Karis agreed on the necessity of intensified collaboration on global issues, particularly food and energy security, which have become even more pressing in the current global environment.

In his remarks, Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening ties with Estonia and other European partners to tackle regional and global challenges through mutual cooperation.
