The song’s strong lyrics, which talked about serious issues like abuse and bad behavior, quickly became a hit, and many people thought Lamar won the rap battle with Drake.
The song became number one on the charts and a favorite in West Coast rap. People loved the song’s strong bass, smooth strings, and Lamar’s clear and powerful way of rapping.
