In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Deora expressed his deep concerns as a father, condemning the assault and emphasizing the community’s strong stance against violence.

"The public outrage over the horrific #Badlapur incident is a clear message—violence against women and children will not be tolerated," Deora wrote. "As a father, my heart goes out to the victims and their families. This case is an affront to our core values as a society and nation. It is crucial for schools, caregivers, and law enforcement to prioritize the safety of our children through stringent background checks and vigilance."
